Danny "Joe" Vipperman's Obituary
VIPPERMAN, Danny "Joe", age 75, of Lebanon, and formerly of Mansfield, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Monday, July 10, 2023, at his residence.
Mr. Vipperman, a Vietnam veteran, honorably served in the United States Air Force, where he was stationed in Guam. During his time in the military, he was a jet engine mechanic. He worked at Gorman Rupp for 17 years in Mansfield and went on to be a self-employed painter.
Loving, caring, kind-hearted, and very humble, Danny "Joe" had a friendly personality and was willing to do anything for anyone. He greatly enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. In his early days, he was known to write songs and perform in clubs, church, and during family gatherings. His other hobbies included fishing, hunting, and camping. He enjoyed taking short trips with his wife in their RV. Danny “Joe” met Veronica in August of 1971; by October, they were married. They shared many memories together, including their four children. Danny “Joe” loved spending quality time with each of them; he loved visiting his son Aaron in Florida for his famous brisket, weekend flea market trips with his son Jeremy, and hunting days with his youngest son Justin. Danny "Joe" loved his daughter’s home cooking and was so joyful for his newly adopted grandson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Phyllis Vipperman. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Veronica; four children, Jeremy Vipperman (Mandy Tom), Aaron (Ruthann) Vipperman, Rochelle Vipperman, and Justin Vipperman (Rachel McGinnis); eight grandchildren, Joseph, Hayley, Dale, Aurora, Reannah, Waylon, Carson, and Nolan; two sisters, Peg (Geary) Hood and Jane (Harry) Johnson; and one brother, Don (Jean) Vipperman.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com
