Dawn R. Clements' Obituary
CLEMENTS, Dawn R., age 51, of Middletown and formerly of Casstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at her home.
Dawn graduated from Clinton Massie High School and was currently employed as an office manager at Buckeye EcoCare, recently celebrating her 30th anniversary with the company. She was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church in Waynesville.
Dawn was preceded in death by her first husband, Rodney Taylor. She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Mike Clements; five step-children and several step-grandchildren; parents Donald and Ginger Jackson; brother Pastor Steve (Christy) Jackson; and nieces, nephews, numerous loving friends and co-workers.
She will be remembered as a faithful, loving soul who was generous, kind hearted, wise and a natural mother. She was always there for her family, friends and co-workers, no matter the time of day. Dawn was the consummate professional and had a passion for the lawn care industry; she played an integral part in the growth and success of the company she loved.
One of Dawn’s greatest joys was traveling to the tropics, especially Key West, Florida, where she enjoyed watching the sunrises and sunsets. She also enjoyed camping and fishing trips to Cave Run Lake in Kentucky, shopping, attending fairs, and Jimmy Buffett music. Dawn will be remembered for her compassion for squirrels, which she raised from babies when they were abandoned or needed extra care.
On Tuesday, August 10, the family will receive friends from 11 AM - 1 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 1 PM at Harvest Baptist Church in Waynesville. Pastor Steve Jackson will be officiating. Internment will be at Springfield Friends Church and Cemetery in Wilmington. If desired, contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton.
