Delores E. Plummer's Obituary
PLUMMER, Delores E., age 90, of Dayton and formerly of Waynesville, passed away peacefully Monday, July 3, 2023, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born to Dorothy (née Cornelius) and Ralph Bunnell in Utica, Ohio.
Delores cherished her family and was very proud of them. One of her favorite hobbies was attending the baseball games and activities of her grandchildren. She was also a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and enjoyed watching and listening to their games. Delores was happy, fun to be around, outgoing, energetic, and always on the go. She loved playing cards, especially Euchre, with friends and family. Christmas was her favorite holiday, but she enjoyed all the holiday gatherings because it meant the family was together. During the Christmas gathering, it became an all-night-long tradition with family to make cookies and Chex Mix. She loved cooking, especially with the help of her family and trying new recipes. Among many things, she will be remembered for her love of Bill’s glazed twist donuts and hot coffee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell, in 2009; her parents; one sister, Joyce Arrasmith; and her beloved dog, Abby. She is survived by one daughter, Dee (Steve) Blunt; two sons, Chris Plummer and Christopher (Trish) Plummer. She is also survived by Mike (Cindy) Bunnell, Tammy (Mike) Wilson, Todd Arrasmith, Casey and Dawson Blunt, Liam and Logan Plummer, Bella Wilson, Cheyenne Williams, Jessica (Bret) Barrett, and Dakota Plummer; and several other nieces and nephews.
Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
