Dennis A. Hart's Obituary
HART, Dennis A., age 70, of Centerville, passed away Mon. May 7, 2018 at his residence.
Dennis is a 1965 graduate of Waynesville High School. He is a U.S. Marines Vietnam veteran and retired from Delphi after 25 years of service. He has been a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton, since the late 1980’s.
Family oriented, caring, and willing to give to anyone, Dennis enjoyed hiking, fishing, boating and anything made with chocolate. He also enjoyed going out on adventures to the woods to walk, run, and pray. Three times a week, he would enjoy a meal at Cracker Barrel with his best friend, Gary Stevens. He also cherished the many trips he and his wife made with his sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Jerry, and hanging out with good friends, Lester Rasnick and Don Havercamp.
He was preceded in death by one grandson Devin Foster and his parents James and Larma Hart. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Connie; two daughters Denise Killian and Virginia Foster; two sons David Foster and Steve Foster; eight grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one sister Cheryl (Jerry) Caudill; one brother David (Carolyn) Hart; sister-in-law Diana Kauffman; and two nephews Kevin Caudill and Ryan Caudill.
A memorial service will be held 7 PM Fri. May 11, with full military honors, at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Fri. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
