Derek A. Whorton's Obituary
WHORTON, Derek A. age 18 of Waynesville and formerly of Bellbrook passed away Sat. Dec. 2, 2006. Derek graduated from Bellbrook High School in 2006, was a member of the Southbrook Christian Church in Centerville, and was employed at Eddie’s Landscaping. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Scott Whorton. He is survived by his father Damon (Susan) Whorton; siblings Damon Scott, Dylan, Amelia, Sophie, and Roman Whorton all of Waynesville; grandmother Lucia de Ridder of Yellow Springs; and several aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends noon-1 P.M. Wed. followed by a memorial service at 1 P.M. at the Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Pastor Frank Crockett will officiate the service.
