Diana Carol Begley's Obituary
BEGLEY, Diana Carol, age 60, of Oregonia, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born July 24, 1960 to Archie and Betty Begley.
Diana graduated from Waynesville High School, class of ’78 and continued her education at Wright State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in science for computer engineering, class of ‘82.
Diana retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after 30 years of being a computer engineer. She was a devoted member of the Heritage Fellowship Church in Florence, Kentucky. Among many things, she will be remembered for her love of the Lord and how much she enjoyed spreading His word. She adored being able to help nurture and disciple the youth and teens on Sunday and would help those that were in need of comfort. She was such a devote Christian, she even became an ordained minister.
As a quiet, reserved, and thoughtful lady, she greatly enjoyed watching tv (especially the Cincinnati Reds), casting her line out on her fishing pole (in hopes of reeling in the big catch), and was an avid reader on just about every topic. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her nieces and nephews, whom she loved like her own.
She was preceded in death by her father, Archie Begley. She is survived by her mother Betty Begley; three brothers Michael Begley, Steven Begley, and Allen (Carrie) Begley; two nieces Julia Begley and Laura Begley; and one nephew Matthew Begley.
