Don L. Rye's Obituary
RYE, Don L. age 85, of Waynesville, passed away Sat. Nov. 25, 2017 at his residence. Don graduated from Waynesville High School in 1950 and was an Army veteran. He was the owner and operator of Harvey Grain in Greene County for many years. He also owned Dagwood's Pizza in Waynesville for several years. He was a 60 year member of the Waynesville American Legion Post 615. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Mary Rye and his sister Charlotte Mote. He is survived by his wife Vicki, together 33 years; two daughters Julie Rye-Jergens (Simon) and Mary Beth Wichelt; step son Jimmy (Heather) Wiseman; two grandchildren Benjamin and Leigha; step grandchildren Austin, Jordan, and Hunter; and great granddaughter Emreigh.
