Donald C. Boerstler's Obituary
BOERSTLER, Donald C, age 73, of Wilmington, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Don graduated from Clinton Massie High School, class of ’69. For 15 years, he was a freight handler for Airborne Express, retiring in 2008. He greatly enjoyed following Anchor of Hope Church online. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was a very caring man and would do anything to help those around him. He was a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds baseball team, the Clinton Massie football team, and the Clinton Massie basketball team. Family get-togethers, especially during the holidays, are special moments that he always treasured. Among many things, he will be remembered for the love and pride he had for his family.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Mary Boerstler, and his special friend, Kathy Stults. He is survived by his only living aunt, Jennie Runyon, many cousins, and a special caring family, Lance, Elise, and Christian Stults.
Private remembrance at the convenience of the family. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Burial will be at Miami Cemetery in Corwin. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation or a charity of your choice. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com
