Donald R. Wilson's Obituary
WILSON, Donald R., age 81, of Dayton and formerly of Waynesville, born August 5, 1937, passed away Sat. Jan. 12, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton.
Donald was an Army veteran and earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the General Motors Institute.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Mabel Wilson; sisters Dorothy Carter and Miriam Heimbouch, and brother-in-law Melvin Heimbouch. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Allie Carter, Jr. and was a beloved uncle to seven nieces and nephews, their spouses and children. Donald is also survived by long time friends Pat and Aileen McClelland and their two sons.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date at the Miami Cemetery Chapel in Corwin. In lieu of flowers, Donald wished for any contributions to be made to Hospice of Dayton. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
