Donald A. Hillman's Obituary
HILLMAN, Donald A. age 81 of Waynesville passed away Thurs. Jan. 1, 2009 at his residence. Born April 12, 1927 to Clyde and Dixie Hillman in Carter County, KY. Donald graduated from Trotwood High School, was a Navy veteran, and retired from GM after 33 years of service. He was a longtime member of the Far Hills Baptist Church, recent attendee of the Corwin Pentecostal Church, volunteered at Kettering Hospital for 13 years, and greatly enjoyed cars, country music, and playing guitar. He was preceded in death by a son Randall Lee Hillman. He is survived by Dorothy, his wife of 42 years; two sons Thomas (Joy) Hillman of NC and Michael (Pam) Garrett of Waynesville; four daughters Denise (Larry) Hillman-Richmond, Jennifer (Dave) Hillman-Barton, Diane Webb all of Waynesville, and Patricia (Ted) Knapke of Mason; 12 grandchildren; and three sisters Phyllis (Paul) Voiles of Xenia, Corrine Watson of FL, and Glenna (Jim) Hawley of MI. Funeral services 11 AM Mon. Jan. 5 at the Corwin Pentecostal Church. Rev. Acy W. Lamb and Rev. Walter Lamb officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Sun. at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
