Donald C. Thoma's Obituary
THOMA, Donald C. age 87 of Waynesville passed away Sun. Nov. 9, 2008. Donald was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran, a lifelong farmer, and a retired millwright of Frigidaire. He was a lifetime member of the Lebanon American Legion Post 186, past commander and county commander. He enjoyed his numerous antique tractor clubs memberships and living at Sleepy Hollow Farm for 55 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Mary Margaret (Melampy), his parents Charles and Mary (Parlett) Thoma, and sister Barbara Thoma. He is survived by four sons Charles (Marg), Phil (Myla), Edward (Karen), and Chris (Peggy) Thoma; five daughters Irene (Bob) Mancz, Barb (Everett) Larrabee, Ellen Jane Cox, Peg (Howard) Jent, and Kay Thoma; 23 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and sisters-in-law Kenneth Munger and Ruth Melampy. Funeral services 11 AM Thurs. Nov. 13 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Eric Laux officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M.
