Donald E. "Don" Measel's Obituary
MEASEL, Donald E. age 66 of Waynesville and formerly of Medway passed away suddenly Wed. Sept. 5, 2007. Don was the CEO of Pyramid Riggers Inc. since 1981, a veteran of the Marines, and member of the Centerville Christian Fellowship and American Legion post 615. He is also the trustee for Local 1066 Apprenticeship Program and a founding member and vice president of the Dayton Area Riggers Association. He was preceded in death by his father William. He is survived by his wife Malinda, married 45 years; four sons Eric of TN, Brad (Jodie) of Waynesville, Brian (Deborah) of Peebles, and Shawn (Nicholette) Measel of Medway; nine grandchildren Clint, Clay, Amy, Ashley, Allison, Zachary, Emily, Connor, and Owen; great granddaughter Madalynn; his mother Rosella Rutledge of Dayton; and brother Gordon Measel of Trotwood. Funeral services 11:00 AM Mon. Sept. 10 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Sun. at the funeral home.
