Donna J. Lewis-Stouder (Baine)'s Obituary
LEWIS-STOUDER, Donna J. (Baine), age 66, formerly of West Chester, Spring Valley, and Xenia, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
Donna retired from Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton after more than 20 years of service as an LPN. After she retired from the hospital, she worked several more years in home health care. She found particular joy in helping one young individual during her years in home health care. She was a member of the East River Road Baptist Church in Fairfield.
Generous and giving, Donna could exhibit her strong-willed personality when she needed to. With a creative side, she enjoyed oil and water color painting. She also enjoyed flower gardening, computer games, and creating beautiful fabrics via sewing and crocheting. She loved to cook, with her vegetable soup being her most popular dish. Her custom cheeseball was also a hit whenever she made it special. She collected dream catchers and Native American cultural items. Each year, she looked forward to the Native American festival that was held outside of Lebanon in September. Among many things, she will be remembered for her immense love of Diet Pepsi.
She was preceded in death by her former husband Kenneth “Bill” Lewis and more recently by her husband Robert E. Stouder Jr.; her parents Donald and Gail Baine; and one brother Ronnie Baine. She is survived by her son Kevin (Savannah) Stouder; three daughters Tina Marie Cunningham, Hope (Jamie) Crager, and Peggy Ann (Nate) Thompson; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother Timothy (Jutta) Baine; and two sisters Sharon (Thomas) Mercer and Kathie Herdman.
Funeral services 1 PM Thursday, May 28 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville, OH. Burial will be in Middle Run Cemetery, Waynesville.
