Doris Conner's Obituary
CONNER, Doris J. age 92 of Waynesville passed away Sat. March 10, 2012. She graduated from Waynesville High School class of ’37. She was a member of the Waynesville United Methodist Church and taught piano and art lessons for many years from her home. Many of her oil paintings can be found in various Waynesville homes and businesses. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl W. in 1990, her daughter Rebecca L. Hoak, her sister Evelyn Ramby Baird, and her brother Herman Surface. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Steve and Kathy Conner of Waynesville; 6 grandchildren Brian (Donna) Koch, Tonya (John) McCoy, Brad (Missy) Conner, Jeffrey (Courtney) Hoak, Melody (Andy) Suittor, and Sam (Sarah) Hoak; 15 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren. Funeral services 11 AM Wed. March 14 at the Waynesville United Methodist Church. Randy Snyder and Jing Chow officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Tues. at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville.
