Doris Smith's Obituary
SMITH, Doris L. age 96 of Waynesville passed away Tues. August 16, 2011. Doris graduated from Waynesville High School, class of '33. She was the first woman on the Wayne Local School Board and retired from the Waynesville National Bank. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar "Smitty" in 1991, parents Russell and Lucille Salisbury, and two sisters Ruth Winner and Mildred Furnas. She is survived by her daughter Sally Andrews, two grandchildren Lee Rowe and Teri Parker, one brother Ronald Salisbury, and one sister Lorene Williams. Memorial services 11 AM Fri. Aug. 19 at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Waynesville. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
