Dorothy L. Faul's Obituary
Dorothy L. Faul of Centerville passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the
age of 90.
She was born in Lexington, Kentucky in March of 1930 as one of ten children of Allen and Cynthia Dyer (all deceased). While she worked briefly at General Electric in her youth, most of her life was centered around family. She was married to Leonard (deceased) for 46 years. She was mother to Leonard (Constance) Faul, Jr, Mary Faul, and Laura (James) Ward.
She had a life long relationship with plants. There were extensive vegetable gardens she tended with her husband and children when younger and the beautiful flower gardens that surround her home in Centerville, even now. All of this, she would drop at a moment's notice to help family or friends in need whether locally, in Kentucky, or across the country. She was a kind and generous spirit. She will always be remembered and deeply missed.
She is survived by her children (listed above); six grandchildren Zachary Faul, Nicholas (Rachel) Faul, Nathan Faul, Jacob Hoefer, Logan (Kristin Hallesy) Ward, and Aspen Ward; and great granddaughter Halle.
A celebration of life gathering will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Saturday, November 13 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
