Dorothy Marie Hopkins' Obituary
HOPKINS, Dorothy Marie, age 92, of Lebanon passed away Wed. Dec. 5, 2018 at her residence.
Dorothy retired from Lebanon City Schools, after being a third grade teacher for 30 years. For over 40 years, along with her husband George, she owned Danrosue Kennels and greatly enjoyed working with the dogs. She will be remembered for her kind spirit and her willingness to do anything for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1994; one son Roger K. Hopkins; one great grandson Konnor Traud; her parents William and Augusta Seeger; and one brother Al Seeger. She is survived by her son Daniel R. (Vicki) Hopkins; one daughter Susie (Tim) Traud; six grandchildren Kay Metsker, Bryan Traud, Ryan (Tiffany) Traud, Alexa Lowery, Taylor Lowery, and Ariana Lowery; four great grandchildren Tyler (Kaitlyn) Metsker, Khloe Traud, Gunner Traud, and Dexter Traud; one great great grandchild on the way, Oakley Metsker; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Fri. Dec. 7 at Miami Valley Memory Garden in Centerville. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is handling the arrangements for the family. If desired, contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
