Mom, as I walked through the journey of life, I remembered.
I remembered how you helped me to grow with love, truth, and honesty.
I remembered how you helped me to choose the right path with values, morals, and self worth.
I remembered how you gave me dreams with hope and confidence.
As I remembered, I prayed to be a mother like you, to shape my children into strong adults, full of hopes and dreams.
You made me who I am today, and I will always remember you in life's passings for no one could touch my life as you have.

Dear Marilyn and Family:
Gary emailed me and told me about the loss of your mother. I know that she will be missed greatly. I lost my mother nearly nine years ago and there is not a time that goes by that I wish for just one more minute with her. Please know that she will be in my prayers as well as your family. So many childhood memories are filled with my grandma’s love. I've had the privilege to have you in my life for all my 47 years. I wouldn’t have changed you for all that you were. This poem says what I can't. I know you’re with the Lord and He will walk you through. Love you Grandma.

Grandma
Thank you for the gift of love,
now you're sharing it up above.
You had many things to say.
All in a caring way.
You always saw good in everyone,
No matter what they've done.
You were always the one we could all lean on.
Even though it must have felt like a ton.
You were always the strength of the family.
Now we must let you rest calmly.
As we say goodbye,
as tears roll down our eyes.
I know your place in heaven has a good view.
Because you're telling God,
I need to keep an eye on a few.
I know you will always be in our hearts and mind.
So Grandma,
I must go, but I'll never forget you're one of a kind.
