Doug Meyers was intelligent, clever, witty, and generous with his time, gifts, and hospitality. He was a caring uncle. I always enjoyed our discussions on politics and books and appreciated all of the career advice and his unique sense of humor. Doug's insights and observations were invaluable. I will treasure the caring kindnesses shown to my father and me when we lost my mother, memories of the wonderful dinners with Doug and Mary, to the anticipated "bigger and better than ever Christmas Village" at the holidays.
