Doyle L. Reed's Obituary
REED, Doyle L. age 86 of Waynesville passed away Fri. Aug. 12, 2016 at Hospice of Butler/Warren County. Doyle worked at Delco Moraine and was a Korean Conflict Army veteran. He was a member of the Waynesville First Baptist Church. He greatly enjoyed golfing, gardening, hunting, and UK basketball. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Stella Reed; three brothers Oda, Jordan, and Ernie Jr. Reed; and one sister Doris Reed. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Willa Mae; two sons Jerry (Deborah) Reed and Terry (Sherry) Reed; five grandchildren Brian and Kyle Reed, Amanda (Daniel) McNeese, Kristin McIntire, and Jared Reed; seven great grandchildren Jocelyn, Jace, Jaxson, Madelyn, Ryan, Jacob, and Layla; one brother G.W. (Barbara) Reed; one sister Janice Reed; and two best friends Richard (Pat) Jordan. Funeral services 1 PM Wed. Aug. 17 at the Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Roger Dale McCloud will be officiating. The family will receive friends 11 AM - 1 PM Wed. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler/Warren County.
