Earl Ward's Obituary
WARD, Earl T. age 81 of Centerville passed away Mon. May 29, 2006 at Southview Hospital. Born July 2, 1924 to Lonzo and Mary Alice Ward in Corbin, KY. Earl was a WWII Army veteran serving during D-Day in Normandy and was highly decorated for his service. He retired from GM after 40 years of service and was a member of the Crossview Christian Church in Waynesville. He greatly enjoyed wood working and telling stories. He is survived by his wife Sue, married 58 years; son Dennis Ward (Terri Burton) of Laura, OH; four brothers Ray (Oppie) of MI, Zeb (Carolyn) of KY, Bill (Laura) of KY, and Don (Eulene) Ward of Centerville; two sisters Gladys (David) Lawson of TN and Inus Osman of AR; and many dear friends. Funeral services 10:00 A.M. Sat. June 3 at the Crossview Christian Church. Pastor Randy Snyder officiating. Burial Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M.
