Earnest Cook's Obituary
COOK, Earnest age 80 of Waynesville passed away Sat. July 2, 2011 at his residence. Earnest retired in 1992 from the excavating business after approximately 40 years of service. He was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Waynesville. An excellent fisherman, he enjoyed nature, people, and serving the Lord. He was preceded in death by his son Ernest Dale Cook, his parents John and Bessie Cook, five brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Linda; four daughters Betty (Kenny) Garrett, Luvenia (Brother Dallas) Lakes, Sylvia (Danny) Baker, and June (Brother Don) Ingram; step daughter Becky (Keith) Meador; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and two brothers Edward (Betty) Cook and Otis (Sue) Cook. Funeral services 11 AM Wed. July 6 at the Full Gospel Tabernacle, Waynesville. Tim Noble and David Dixon officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin.
