Eddie D. Fugate's Obituary
FUGATE, Eddie D. age 68, of Oregonia, passed away Thurs. April 7, 2016 at his residence. Eddie was a Vietnam Marines veteran, having served two tours in Vietnam and earned two Purple Heart awards. He was currently employed, and has worked as a mechanic for 25 years, at Barrett's Marathon in South Lebanon. He greatly enjoyed farming, working on tractors, bailing hay, horses, muscle cars, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step father Millard Birch and one brother Larry Birch. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Sue; son Jason Fugate; daughters Angela (Mark) Smith and Amy (Michael) Sams; three grandchildren Timothy Woods, Felicia Landacre, and Briann Woods; his mother Mary Jackson; one brother Harold Birch; and two sisters Carolyn (Darcy) Dennin and Vanessa Bellamy.
