Edna Mae Locke's Obituary
LOCKE, Edna M. age 94 of Waynesville and formerly of Bellefontaine passed away Wed. Oct. 18, 2006 at Quaker Heights Nursing Home, Waynesville. Edna graduated from Wittenberg University and was a former school teacher for 25 years. She was a member of the Crossview Christian Church, lifetime member of the Warren County Teachers Association, and greatly enjoyed cooking, sewing, teaching sunday school, and helping others. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Vernon Locke in 1997. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law John and Cheryl Locke of Sabina and George and Kay Locke of Waynesville, daughter and son-in-law Marilyn and Eugene Combs of Waynesville, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one sister Frances Hebert of NY. Funeral services 2:00 P.M. Sat. Oct. 21 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Pastor Hugh Hurley and Pastor Bill Perry officiating. Burial Sabina Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Fri. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Quaker Heights Nursing Home or Hospice of Dayton.
