Effie Lorene Patton's Obituary
PATTON, Effie Lorene age 69 of Corwin passed away Wed. Feb. 18, 2009 at her residence. Effie was born Feb. 10, 1940 to Acy and Blanche Lamb in Waynesville. She was a member of the Corwin Pentecostal Church and enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Sutton Lamb. She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law Todd and Brenda Patton of Corwin, Troy and Bonnie of Springboro, and Bryan and Berneda Patton of Lebanon; six grandchildren Jeremy and his wife April Patton, Lacey and her husband E.J. Lamb, McKenzie, Brayden, Carrie, and Kyle Patton; two great grandchildren Reese and Bella; four brothers Walter and his wife Faye of Corwin, Acy W. and his wife Ellen of Corwin, Johnny and his wife Bonnie of Waynesville, and Anthony and his wife Karen Lamb of Corwin; and four sisters Lucille and her husband Ralph Henry of Corwin, Velma Lamb of Waynesville, Marilyn and her husband Gene Thompson of Waynesville, and Ramona and her husband John Sackett of Waynesville. Funeral services 11 AM Mon. Feb. 23 at the Corwin Pentecostal Church. Rev. Don Ingram, Rev. Walter Lamb, and Rev. Acy W. Lamb officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-9 PM Sun. at the church. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
