Ellis Jr. Mallicoat's Obituary
MALLICOAT, Ellis Jr. age 73 of Xenia and formerly of Waynesville passed away Fri. June 27, 2008 at his residence. Ellis retired from GM – Inland Div. in 1989 after 32 years of service. He was affiliated with the Corwin Pentecostal Church, a member of the AMVETS and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Xenia, and greatly enjoyed Turtlecreek Bluegrass. He was preceded in death by his parents Ellis and Martha Mallicoat; four brothers Jack, Frank, Jim, and Willie “Bill” Mallicoat; and four sisters Lois Miles, Dolar Harville, Hazel Fultz, and Eliza Coffey. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Robert and Jerolyn Mallicoat of Hamilton; grandchildren Chas and Charla; close friend Phyllis Rose of Jamestown; one brother Thomas “Bus” Mallicoat of TN; one sister and brother-in-law Betty and Buster Hayes of TN; special friends Lee and Bennie Payle; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services 6 PM Mon. June 30 at the Corwin Pentecostal Church. Rev. Acy Wendal Lamb, Rev. Walter Lamb, and Rev. Norman R. Paslay II officiating. The family will receive friends 3-6 PM Monday at the church. The burial will be on Tues. at the Mallicoat Cemetery in TN. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.stubbsconner.com.
