Eloise "Bonita" Loveless' Obituary
LOVELESS, Eloise “Bonita”, age 94, of Waynesville, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at her residence.
Bonita was born in Dayton Ohio and raised on a farm near Spring Valley Ohio. She attended school in Spring Valley and graduated from Spring Valley High School, class of ’44. She was a member of the Waynesville United Methodist Church where she was an active participant in the United Methodist Women Club and the Love Circle. She also enjoyed singing in the church choir.
Friendly, caring, and loving, Bonita greatly enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, and ceramics. Over the years, she greatly enjoyed the trips to the southwestern part of the United States to visit her son. In addition, the trips to New Zealand and Australia were some of her fondest memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents George “Estel” and Viola Mae Johnson and her sister Emma “Elizabeth” Thomas. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, John Loveless; son Steven Loveless; daughter Elaine (Andy) Yurick; two grandchildren Mary Yurick and Nicholas (Samantha) Yurick; her one brother Paul “Bud” Johnson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, November 28 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. Chaplain Chuck Testas will be officiating. The family will receive friends 11 AM - 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
