Jeannine was one special lady to me! I first met Jeannie when we moved in next door to them. I was young and newly married and she took me under her wing so to speak and taught me so many things, like how to can tomatoes and make salsa. She was a good cook and baker, especially when she made zucchini bread and her fudge!
When I was pregnant and had to stay in bed for weeks, she brought me over magazines to read, puzzles to do, and food while my husband worked nights. She made sure I was okay and she was a phone call away! Ashley was born on Bill's birthday so that was a special connection for us!
She soon would become grandma Jeannie ( grandpa Bill) Ashley's adoptive next door grandparents! What a blessing for us! When I was going through a devastating divorce that didn't choose and was becoming a single parent. She helped me so much with her encouraging words and hugs! She helped me get my self esteem back and help Ashley with this new adjustment in life! I couldn't have made it through without her! When I moved and got married again we still kept in touch and my new husband and children were privileged to meet her and Bill! Even after the kids grew up we still kept in touch! Who would of thought that my husband would be putting in a bathroom floor 20 years later! She was a beautiful Christian woman inside and out!⁹⁹
