Gary E. Van Nuys' Obituary
VAN NUYS, Gary E. age 69 of Waynesville passed away Tues. Sept. 16, 2014. He was a Vietnam Army veteran. A barber for 45 years, he retired from WPAFB. Gary was a member of the Waynesville American Legion Post 615 and the Waynesville Lions Club. He greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Van Nuys and Gertrude Addison. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Julie, two daughters Kathy and Becky, granddaughter Kaitlyn, one sister Carla (James) Schurman, and his beloved dogs Jenny and Patriot. Funeral services 5 PM Mon. Sept. 22 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Mon. at the funeral home.
