Gene "Ace" Phillips' Obituary
PHILLIPS, Gene “Ace” age 69 of Waynesville passed away Sat. May 20, 2006 at his residence. Ace was a Korean War Army Veteran. He was the President of Area Wide Electronics in Waynesville and a member of N.A.M.A. and O.A.M.A. He greatly enjoyed the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, sports of all kinds, and cooking. He is survived by his wife Dottie, married 35 years, son Brian of Waynesville, brother and sister-in-law Donald and Cay Phillips of FL, sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Kenneth Fischer of IN, several nieces and nephews, his “adopted son” and business partner Phil Baker of Waynesville, and best friend Spot (his dog). Funeral services 1:00 P.M. Wed. May 24 at STUBBS-CONNER FUNERAL HOME, Waynesville. The burial will immediately follow the funeral Wed. at Miami Cemetery in Corwin with full military honors. The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Tues. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
