Georgia Maxine Hightman's Obituary
HIGHTMAN, Georgia Maxine, age 88, of Waynesville, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019.
Maxine graduated from Lebanon High School in 1950 and retired from General Motors, Inland Division, in 1996. She greatly enjoyed working with crafts; especially cross stitching and creating Christmas ornaments. She will also be remembered for her generosity and her incredible pie baking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Hightman; parents Maxwell and Florence Hollingsworth; and four sisters Juanita Pomeroy, Josephine Starkey, Mary Martha Morgan, and Lenora Ross. She is survived by one sister Alberta Morgan; seven nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; and her best friend Irene Hurtt.
Graveside service and burial will be 11 AM Mon. Dec. 30 at Miami Cemetery in Corwin. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family. If desired, contributions may be made to the Ohio Living Quaker Heights in Waynesville. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
