It is refreshing to know that Gladys now is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is once again made new for eternity. Rest assured with this and wait in joyful hope of reuniting with her. My prayers are for Joe and the rest of the family for peace and comfort during this time of uncertainty. It was/is truly a blessing to have known her and continue to witness the impact of her Christian faith that remains here with us through her family.

I am very sorry to learn of Gladys passing. Please pass my sincere condolences to Joe and the family. Every now and again there comes in to one’s life people who leave an indelible imprint. Gladys and Joe McFadden are people like that who I am sure will have also touched many other lives with their warmness and sharing qualities. I have never forgotten their generosity of spirit extended to a young exchange student from New Zealand and remain indebted to them for the friendship extended since I first came to know them. I WORKED WITH GLADYS IN 1960 AND 1970 AT KETTERING IN SURGERY BEFORE I BECAME A NURSE.SHE WAS AN INSPIRATION TO ME TO FURTHER MY EDUCATION. SHE WAS COMPETENT,ORGANIZED AND ONE OF THE BEST CIRCULATORS I WORKED WITH.
BEYOND HER COMPASSION AS A NURSE I FOUND SHE SUPPORTED CHILDREN THROUGH AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION AND AGAIN THIS MADE AN IMPRESSION ON ME TO JOIN COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL AND SPONSOR CHILDREN.
