Glen Carter's Obituary
Carter, Glen, age 89, of Waynesville, passed away Thurs. April 26, 2018 at Southview Hospital.
Glen graduated from Spring Valley High School and was a Korean War Army veteran. He retired after 45 years of service from Roxanna Fertilizer Company. He was a member of the Heritage Christian Church in Centerville. With a gentle personality, Glen will be remembered for always being friendly and loved by everyone. He greatly enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son Philip Dean (Joy) Carter; grandson Michael Matthew Carter; parents Alonzo and Cordelia Carter; three brothers Joe, Raymond, and Marion; and six sisters Macey, Mary Ellen, Daisy, Marjorie, Elsie, and Martha. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary; son Kenny (Carol) Carter; three grandchildren Daniel Carter, Tracey (Randy) Wical, and Rachel Carter (Eric); three great grandchildren Genevieve, Vivian, and Fiona; three brothers Bill, Jim, and Bob; four sisters Alice, Jane, Pauline, and Donna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Mon. April 30 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Pastor Randy Snyder will be officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin.
