Glenn R. Cox's Obituary
COX, Glenn R., age 75, of Waynesville passed away Mon. Oct. 27, 2014 at Hospice of Butler & Warren County. He was born Nov. 25, 1938 in Preble County to the late Harold and Margaret Cox. Glenn graduated from Harveysburg High School after attending all 12 years of school without missing a day. He received an Associate's Degree from the University of Dayton and later retired from AK Steel in Middletown in 2002 after 31 years of service. He was a member of the Pillar of Fire Worship Center in Harveysburg and the Warren County Farm Bureau. He greatly enjoyed working outside, keeping up with current events, news, and financial markets, making people laugh, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wanda; two daughters Pamela (Ron) Gilbert and Kimberly (Darrell) McKinney; four grandchildren Kristopher (Nikki) McKinney, Desiree (Wayne) Osborn, Travis Gilbert, and Alicia (Ron) Heinlein; two great grandchildren Alexis and Wayden; three brothers Virgil Cox, Donald (Sharon) Cox, and Norman (Geneva) Cox; and other special relatives Sonja Whalen, Joy Hopkins, Cynthia Cox, and Diane Wiederhold. Funeral services 1 PM Fri. Oct. 31 at Sure Foundation Ministries in Harveysburg. Keith Lamb, Jimmy Lamb, and Shahne Stone officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin.
