Heather L. Hill's Obituary
HILL, Heather L., age 62, of Dayton, died Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Kettering Hospital.
She was an active and faithful member of the Philadelphia Church of God. Heather was currently working, and had worked the past 18 years, at Specialized Fulfillment Services in Dayton.
Loving, friendly, caring, outgoing, and spunky, Heather was a social butterfly with the typical red-haired fiery spirit -- but in a fun way. She loved talking on the phone and crocheting, and she especially loved playing cards with friends, collecting a multitude of themed decks. The Church and its activities, however, were her life. She treasured the annual Feast of Tabernacles, which allowed her to meet new friends in many exciting locations, including Australia, Europe, the Caribbean, and Hawaii. Visiting the beach and soaking up the sun became a tradition during her travels. Among many things, she will be remembered for her love of sweets -- especially Red Cream Soda and chocolate.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Martha Plummer, and one brother, Roark Plummer.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, November 3 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin. Minister Eric Burns will be officiating the services. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to the Philadelphia Church of God, PO Box 3700, Edmond, OK 73083. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
