WHEELEN, Howard F. Jr. age 73 of Oregonia passed away suddenly Sat. March 3, 2007 at Bethesda Arrow Springs. Howard has been employed at Ernst Concrete for the last 36 years. He greatly enjoyed working for Ernst, taking care of his animals, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Metta Wheelen and one brother Charles Scheetz. He is survived by his wife Esther, married 42 years; son Fred Perry and his companion Denise of Harveysburg; four daughters Candy “Sis” and her husband Steven Alexander of Wilmington, Carolyn “Babydoll” and her husband Glen Sexton of TN, Charlotte “Punkin” and her husband James Shetterly of Oregonia, and Linda Wheelen of TX; 10 grandchildren David, Ashley, Christina, Samantha, Philip, Renae, Angel, Sean, Angie, & Gerrit; five brothers Jesse Wheelen of Xenia, William and his wife Mariom Rask of Lebanon, Earl “Mooch” and his wife Kelli Wheelen of Waynesville, Rodney and his wife Becky Wheelen of Lebanon, and Elvis Wheelen of KY; two sisters Karen and her husband Larry Porter and Mary Furguson all of KY; special brother-in-law Ray and his wife Jenny Perry of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 6:00 P.M. Tues. March 6 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. James Brown and Tommy Chattin officiating. The family will receive friends 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Tues. at the funeral home.
