Hugh W. Cramer's Obituary
CRAMER, Hugh Walter 85, of Waynesville died of natural causes Sat. Oct. 25, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born Jan. 20, 1923 in Kalamazoo, MI, son of the late Vernon & Jane (Ouimette) Cramer. Hugh served as a pilot in the Army Air Corps during World War II and retired from the Air Force reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel. For 25 years he worked as a mechanical engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He loved working with wood, making furniture, and reading. Hugh is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Ruth Mae Cramer; brothers Neil (Mary) Cramer and Bob (Phyllis) Cramer of CA; daughters Janie Cramer (John) Voehringer of Waynesville, Linda Koch of Middletown, and Candis “C’Ann” (Tom) Schoeppner of Marietta; son David Cramer; and grandchildren Robbie (Erin), Ashlee and Isaac Voehringer, Elizabeth, Danny, Nicholas and Sarah Schoeppner, and Shelby and Rainier Cramer. A memorial service will be held 6 PM Sat. Nov. 15 at the Lytle United Methodist Church, 8464 Lytle Ferry Rd, Waynesville, OH 45068. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
