Ike Gabbard Jr.'s Obituary
GABBARD, Ike Jr. age 69 of Waynesville and formerly of Lebanon passed away Tues. Aug. 7, 2012 at his residence. A 1961 graduate of Lebanon High School and a Korean Conflict Navy veteran. He retired from GM in 1999 after 35 years of service. He was a member of Dodds Pentecostal Church and greatly enjoyed fishing, camping, horses and horse racing, attending church, and especially his family. He was preceded in death by his dad Ike Gabbard, one brother Lloyd Gabbard, and one sister Phyllis Titus. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Debbie; two sons Brian and Josh Gabbard; daughter Jennifer Gabbard; his mom Frances Gabbard; one brother Richard (Judy) Gabbard; two sisters Una (Bill) Bush and Wilma (Carl) Cornett; "rent-a-grandkids" Lucas and Sydney Pennington; sister-in-law Verna Gabbard; brother-in-law Bob Titus; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. Services will be held 11:00 AM Sat. Aug. 11 at Dodds Pentecostal Church. Interment will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-9 PM Fri. at the church.
