We are all so sorry for your loss. She was a fabulous person and was loved by all the family. Her kindness and compassion was felt by everyone. And who could ever forget her laugh. I always felt happier when she was in the room. She just sparkled. I'm sorry I can't be there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy to Irene's family. I remember Irene & Bruce and their children from St. Paul's School. Irene & I were volunteers together, and my son, Ted, and Mark were great friends. May she rest in peace. Sue Foreman, Banning, Ca

I send my deepest condolences to Irene's family and friends. Irene was still an employee at Salem Public Library in 1999 when I began there. I remember what an excellent employee she was and that her standards were high. It might seem odd but I often think of Irene when I am reshelving printed materials in the library's adult department. She was exceptional at shelving which makes finding materials by patrons and staff such a help. Remembering her standards motivates me to do well. Her work was of consistent benefit to the library. I will remember her voice, smile, work standards and most important of all, how much she loved her family.
