Irvin R. Friend's Obituary
FRIEND, Irvin R. age 98 of Dayton and Waynesville passed away Tues. June 12, 2007. Irvin graduated from Waynesville High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami Univ. in 1933. He was a WWII Air Force Veteran and later retired from Wright Patt. in 1971. He was a charter member of the Hollenger Tennis Club and member of the Miami Valley Unitarian Church. He was preceded in death by sisters Helen and Pauline. He is survived by two brothers Robert of Lewisburg and Harold of West Alexandria, 11 nieces and nephews, and 13 grand nieces and nephews. Funeral services 11:00 AM Fri. June 15 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Fri. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
