Jacob "Jake" R. Christman's Obituary
CHRISTMAN, Jacob “Jake” R., age 32, of San Diego, California and formerly of Harveysburg, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Jake attended Lebanon School District during his grade school and junior high years transferring to Clinton Massie as a freshman and graduating in 2007. While at Clinton Massie, he participated in both J.V. baseball and Varsity tennis. Jake was also a member of the “Try Harders” 4-H club throughout his high school years, sharing many great experiences with his family each year at the fair. He then earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Ohio University in 2011. He was very involved in his fraternity Lamba Chi Alpha and enjoyed the brotherhood. Jake moved to Utah shortly after graduating from college and eventually achieved his goal of living in California, where he built a successful career in farming and agriculture.
Adventurous, and spiritually-minded, Jake lived life to the fullest, had a free spirit and, was adored by everyone he came in contact with. He greatly enjoyed hiking and traveling, especially in and around the national parks out west. He also loved being on the California beaches. His other hobbies included fishing and hunting as a child with his father and friends. He also enjoyed camping, snowboarding, attending concerts, and especially music festivals. When he was not working, he was constantly on the move somewhere in search of nature’s peace and beauty. He lived every minute of life and enjoyed everything about the great outdoors. Among many other things, he will be remembered for his infectious laugh, his intelligence, his work ethic, and his dedication to his friends and family. Jake loved big and was loved big in return.
