Jacquelyn R Bylsma's Obituary
BYLSMA, Jacquelyn, age 87 of Waynesville, passed away Thurs. March 3, 2016 at her residence. She was an RN in Loma Linda, CA to put her husband through medical school. She was a member of the Kettering Seventh-Day Adventist Church, the Loma Linda Women's Medical Auxiliary, and the Golden Buckeyes. She nurtured the pastoral staff while volunteering at Kettering Church. A very selfless person, she was always working diligently to care for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Glenn Bylsma, her parents Eugene and Marie Roser, and her brother Lester Roser. She is survived by a son Dr. Benjamin Bylsma (Karen Maase); daughters Barbie Bylsma-Houghton, Beverly Bylsma-Shoemaker (Charles), Beatrix Johnson (James); seven grandchildren Brock Houghton (Debbie), Brie Houghton (Jim), Katelyn Shoemaker-Cobb (Jonathan), Kirk Shoemaker (Chelsea), Kyle Shoemaker, and Juli & Tiffany Johnson; and three great grandchildren Blake Houghton, Brody Houghton, and Isaiah Cobb. Funeral services 2:30 PM Mon. March 14 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 12:30 - 2:30 PM Mon.
