James Orville Lamb's Obituary
LAMB, James Orville, age 85, of Corwin, passed away Sat. Oct. 6, 2018 at his residence.
Orville was a Korean Conflict Navy veteran, he served the country for four years. He retired from Frigidaire in 1976 after 28 years of service. He was affiliated with the Corwin Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Janet in 1998; one granddaughter Christie; his parents Cledus and Gracie Lamb; five brothers Donald, Eddie, Bob, Junior Lamb and Printess Lamb; and one sister Stella Lamb. He is survived by his son Mark C. Lamb; one granddaughter Anne; three great grandchildren; one great great grandson; two brothers Fred (Ruth) and Ernest (Pam) Lamb; and four sisters Mildred (Doug) Hunter, Brenda (Mike) Cope, Barbara (J.B.) Spencer, and Ruby (Lorenzo) Neace.
The family will received friends 12 PM - 2 PM Wed. Oct. 10 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. A graveside service with full military honors will immediately follow the visitation at 2:15 PM Wed. in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
