James L. Randolph's Obituary
RANDOLPH, James L., age 70, of Waynesville, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Soin Medical Center.
James worked nearly 30 years for the Waynesville Sewer Plant, retiring as a supervisor. In his younger days, he also worked as a hog farmer for several years. He was an active member of the Waynesville American Legion Post 615.
Hardworking, feisty, fun-loving, outgoing, and often ornery, James was confident and definitely knew how to have a good time. James also enjoyed visiting his mom on a regular basis and spending time with his friends at the legion SAL.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Randolph; two brothers, Bill and Robin Randolph; and his longtime companion and best friend, Sally Baldwin. He is survived by his mother, Cora Ellen Randolph; his daughter, Gloria (Chris) Lowe; son, E.J. (Valerie) Randolph; step daughter, Kelly (Darrell) Ridinger; step sons, Gene (Katrina) Baldwin and Don (Gail) Baldwin; granddaughters, Josie Lowe, Shelby Randolph, and Isabella Lowe; grandsons, Damion Randolph, Seth Randolph, Chrisley Joe Lowe, Simon Randolph, and James Lowe; step granddaughters, Heather Ridinger and April Ridinger, six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arlie (Vicki) Randolph, Larry (Melissa) Randolph, and David Wentz; sisters, Brenda (Dean) Johnson and Kathy (Don) Kamps; sister-in-law, Brenda Gray Randolph; and his companion of nine years, Anna Belle Simpson, and her son, Chris.
