James V. Ryan's Obituary
RYAN, James (Jim) age 92, of Waynesville, passed away Thurs. Oct. 26, 2017. Jim was born in Middletown, Ohio on July 4, 1925 to parents Vincent and Nellie (Welsh) Ryan. He graduated from Middletown High School in 1943 and was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Waynesville. He served in the United States Marines and was awarded the Purple Heart. Jim owned the Waynesville Lumber Company for 54 years until retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tina Ryan, of 63 years. Jim is survived by a daughter Janice (Randy) Belcher; three sons, Tim (Cathy), Joe (Celeste), and Steve (Meishawn); seven grandchildren, Bryan, Nathan, Sarah, James, Michael, Lauren, and Jeilyn. Mass will be held 11 AM Mon. Oct. 30 at St. Augustine Catholic Church 5715 Lytle Rd, Waynesville, Ohio. Visitation will be two hours prior to the mass at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
