James Brewster Turner's Obituary
Turner, James Brewster, Age 79 of Washington Township, passed away April 13, 2015. He was born October 2, 1935 in Oak Park, Illinois to the late HM and Bess Turner. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sisters Betty Turner-Mandable and Barbara Turner-Mehl and by his son, Michael Alan Turner. He is survived by his daughter, Sheryl (Ken) Spires and his son, James (Jackie) Turner; grandchildren, Leslie (Trent) Katter, Christopher (Lauren) Spires, Nicholas (Janie) Spires, Michael (Elizabeth) Spires, Matthew Spires, Kathryn Spires, James B. Turner, IV; great-grandchildren Emma, Sam and Kayla Katter and close friend Dianne Collett. James was an avid reader and loved golfing and spending time with his family. He served his country as a Marine sergeant. James was a successful salesman of scoreboards and electrical systems for sports stadiums and other businesses. The family will receive friends 1:00 pm Friday, May 8 until the time of the service at 2:00 pm at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, 185 N. Main Street, Waynesville, Ohio.
