James "Jim" M. Weaver's Obituary
WEAVER, James “Jim” M., age 54, of Oregonia and formerly of Brookville, Ohio, passed away suddenly Saturday, March 14, 2020 at his residence.
Jim was born October 19, 1965 to Ralph and Shirley Weaver in Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from Brookville High School in 1984, where he excelled on the football team. He was currently employed at Green Bay Packaging in South Lebanon as an electrician and in mechanical maintenance.
Loving and compassionate, Jim had a heart of gold with a great sense of humor. He loved sports and could list all the stats of his favorite players and teams, the Buckeyes, Reds and Bengals being his favorites. He also enjoyed grilling out, gardening, taking care of his yard, and making memories with his girls. Being a family man and a kid at heart, he took his girls to Disney World several times. He also took them to Myrtle Beach, Pistons games, country concerts, and other trips. Along with his wife, they had a passion for rescuing dogs, often taking in strays, fostering, volunteering, and donating time. His dog, Adelaide, a Chihuahua will always be his favorite. Among many things, Jim will be remembered for his big smile, how much he enjoyed life, for being such a great husband, and how protective he was of his girls.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Teresa; daughter Jasmine Weaver; child he and Teresa raised, Ashley Gross; son Jared Henderson (Mengyu Hu); and three sisters Carol (Rod) Selby, Cathy (Jeffery) Requarth, and Joyce (Marvin) Stepnak.
A memorial service will be scheduled in the coming days. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
