James "Jim" Godfrey, Jr.'s Obituary
GODFREY, James W. Jr. age 47 of Waynesville and formerly of Springboro passed away Thurs. Oct. 18, 2007. Jim had been employed for Pella Sales for over 20 years and lately by Erosion Runner. He was a member of the Epiphany Lutheran Church in Centerville and former vice president of the Miami County Home Builder’s Assoc. He has coached multiple secondary school sports teams and was very active in the community. He was preceded in death by his father James Godfrey Sr. He is survived by his wife Linda, married 27 years; two sons Patrick and Christopher; his mother Joan Godfrey; two brothers Greg (Jill) and Joe Godfrey; two sisters Susan (Chris) Stout and Jenny (Brant) Throneberry; in-laws Mike and Cathy Hart and Hillary and Tom Gunn; and best friends Jeff Heine and Jay Hafner. Funeral services 11 AM Tues. Oct. 23 at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Centerville. Pastor Fritz Wiese officiating.
