Jane M. Stewart's Obituary
STEWART, Jane M. (Ellis) age 54 of Waynesville passed away suddenly Sat. Aug. 11, 2007. Janie graduated from Bellbrook High School, class of ’71. With her husband she owned and operated Waynesville Skydiving starting in 1969. She was a member of the Crossview Christian Church (formerly Ferry Church of Christ) and greatly enjoyed flower gardening, home restoration and decorating, and spending time and caring for her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Chester Ellis and step father Harold Baker. She is survived by her husband Steve R., married 23 years; four sons Jason (Emily) Praeter, Steve Jr. (Emily) Stewart, Eric (Kelli) Campbell, and Jon Stewart (fiancée Noelle Manzione); two daughters Amy Burd and Jaime Praeter (fiancée James Garner); 12 grandchildren Ali, Aidan, Ava, Ashtyn, Graeme, Sidney, Cori, Molly, Sophie, Tyller, Olivia, and Jacob; her mother Mabel Baker; three sisters Susie (Steve) Williamson, Deb (Rick) Ruble, and Patti Jo Petschulat; step brothers and sisters Gary Baker, Bev (Mike) Barrett, Patty (John) Shoemaker, and Dan (Sheila) Baker; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Funeral services 10:00 AM Fri. Aug. 17 at the Crossview Christian Church, Waynesville. Pastor Randy Synder officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-9 PM Thurs. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family. Because of Jane’s love for children, the family wishes contributions in lieu of flowers to be made to the Crossview Christian Church nursery fund.
