Janet S. Jones' Obituary
JONES, Janet S. age 83, of Waynesville and formerly of Englewood, passed away Sat. Jan. 13, 2018 at Hospice of Butler/Warren County.
Janet was a member of the New Freedom Church in Lebanon. Loving and kind hearted, Janet enjoyed life to the fullest. She was jovial person and always found the positive in things. She greatly enjoyed quilting, sewing, collecting Precious Moments items, and spending time with her grandchildren. She especially loved making and giving her crafts away. She was very family oriented and will be remembered for her baking, especially her homemade fudge.
She was preceded in death by her parents Claude Colvin and Ethel Melvin; one brother Jim Colvin; one sister Betty Daniels; and cousin Mary Howard. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jack; daughter Michele (Greg) Sandlin; two grandchildren Holly (Joe) Shutts and Josh (Meghan) Sandlin; and four great grandchildren Carson, Cadynn, Brady, and Emmy.
Funeral services 12 PM Thurs. Jan. 18 at New Freedom Church in Lebanon. Pastor Joe Shutts will be officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thurs. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
